Treasures from the Sea II

At the Beach

My fondest memories are walking on the beach at Grand Isle, Louisiana with my momma. We carried bright colored plastic sand pail to put our “treasures” in. The treasures were hermit crabs and broken pieces of shell, but sometimes we were really lucky and found beautiful pieces of twisted driftwood or a seashell. We knew that these were gifts from the sea on display just for us to find.

This is the one of my first paintings done at the very beginning of my journey toward becoming an “artist”.
