Irene’s is one of my favorite restaurants in the Quarter. The intimate, romantic ambiance and the delicious, provincial French and Italian dishes make for long lines, but if you are lucky you can snag a seat at the piano bar. If you are not so blessed just settle in for a wait outside enjoying the smell of garlic and roasted chicken wafting through the door.
